In My Mailbox : Postcards Received

Here are the postcards I received last week. For the fist time , the mailman delivered the mail on a weekend. I still don’t know how they run things over there at the post office but I’m still not contented with having my mail delivered every two weeks (that is if I’m lucky). I ‘m positive there are some postcards that didn’t reach me, I don’t know what happened to them *sigh*.

Thanks to everyone who sent me postcards, they’re all beautiful. Love them all !

I will feature each of them in this blog in the coming days.

Have a great weekend !

Sent Another Batch of Postcards

I was finally able to join Postcrossing last week and after registering and creating an account, I immediately prepared the postcards that I’ll be sending to five random members the site. My husband was supposed to mail it the next day but his trip to the Main Post Office was postponed due to Typhoon Falcon.

Here’s a photo of the postcards that my husband was finally able to send last Monday. It also includes postcards for members of Postcard Enthusiasts.

And these are the postcards I sent last week :

Now all I have to do is wait for the postman to deliver the next batch of postcards that were sent to me. The last time the postman was here was two weeks ago ! I can’t wait to receive those sent by my friends from PE. As for the postcards from Postcrossing, I may have to wait awhile for them. From what I understand, I can only be eligible to receive a postcard from members once the first 5 postcards I’ve sent have been received. Good thing I still have the postcards from PE members to look forward to.

Have a great week everyone !

It’s Finally Here !

Hello everyone ! Welcome to my newest blog ! Well, it’s more of our blog , meaning , both my husband and I will have a hand in what goes into this blog.

When I would run out of ideas of what to blog about, I would ask hubby for suggestions. Since he also collects coins and stamps , he would suggest if I could make a blog post about them. I told him we’ll make another blog for that, an arts/hobby blog. He’s very excited about the idea of having an arts/hobby blog since he wanted to have a ‘home’ for his collections.

I also have a new hobby, collecting postcards. For now I only do direct swaps but in the coming days I plan to register at postcrossing, where I can regularly send and receive postcards.

We’ll it’s finally here, our arts blog. This domain was given my Mommy Rubz, a Mother’s Day gift with hosting from Pinay Mommies. Thank you, Mommy Rubz !
Thanks also to Mommy Willa for the wonderful badge and to sis Iris for all the help .

Please come back and visit us often. We hope you’ll like what you see.
