Postcrossing # 31 : Annecy

Annecy, France

Annecy in the North of the French Alps, is the Venice of Savoie – a well deserved title. The medieval town centre built around a 14th Century Chateau is dissected by small canals and streams running out of Lac Annecy, which is clean, fresh and a wonderful azure colour. Annecy is also the prefecture of the département of Haute-Savoie. (source)

Postcrossing # 27 : Sunrise over Lake Ontario

Here’s an excellent view of Lake Ontario – it seems to have a relaxing and calming effect to it. This one was sent by Lynda, a Postcrosser from Canada. She mentioned that she’s a blogger, too ( I may have to visit her profile at Postcrossing because she wasn’t able to indicate the name of her travel blog on the postcard).
